Woodland Enchantress

I was very lucky to receive the Woodland Enchantress cross stitch kit from my boyfriend for Christmas. For those who are unfamiliar with this kit it is one from the DMC Gold Collection, and the finished piece will look something like this:

I’m really loving the colours of this one, there are so many beautiful threads, and i’m really enjoying it so far, although i think the stitches using multiple coloured strands and more than 2 strands will probably get annoying after a while. Anyway this is the progress i’ve made so far, i’ll update again after i’ve done some more.

Hey, Becca! Nice to see you checked into crossstitchforum again. I was also given this design — though mine is the HAED one (25ct over 1 and 90 (Ninety) colours. All your stitching is looking great. (The drawn Cat is fabulous.)

Thanks πŸ™‚ Wow i didn’t know there was another version, it sounds like yours is going to look very impressive when it’s done.

Hi Becca, I am stitching the very same thing right now. I got it for my birthday in June from my bestest friend, but as I already had a project on the go for my daughter I saved it until that was finished. I’ve gone a different direction to you, to the left out from the first fold of her dress. I’ve got it on my SAL post on the cross stitch forum, but haven’t posted an update. It would be neat to actually be stitching it together. πŸ™‚

I’m going to do what the chart-maker says for a change: I’ll grid the material and then start in the top left corner. I read on another blog that someone had started this piece and got hopelessly lost in the middle, so you are both doing Very Well Indeed!

    Hello,
I recently bought this design too. I like to scan my charts so that i can enlarge them and so I can mark my progress. After doing so, I have no idea where I put my original chart! I have the scans for the design, but I don’t scan the back and that’s where the color/symbol chart is located so I can’t do anything without that table.
Is there any way I can get you to email me that table? I would REALLY appreciate that.
    Thank you!
